Doing grocery shopping is time consuming. Figuring out what to eat, searching and picking each product is mentally taxing.

How?

We are building a platform that;

Enables grocery shopping by voice so you can say
– Add a spaghetti bolognese to my cart.

Makes smart fridges smart so they can tell you what to have for dinner
– You can cook a tomato soup with what you currently have at home

And we are doing this by getting a deep understanding of something as easy as Recipes and their relationships between products, personal preferences and retailers stock keeping through hard work, and a mix of technologies spanning from PHP to NLP.

We are therefore looking for Backend Engineers who thrives on creating new features and solving complex problems. For us, motivation and passion, is everything.

Your typical day? There's nothing like that.

You will join us at our central kick-ass office in the middle of Stockholm and the heart of Stockholm tech scene: SUP46. Every day is different as the demand for our product is increasing at the same pace new features are requested by our customers. Each deployment will have a direct effect on what products are sold at our customers and what food are being cooked in thousands of households every day.

We have a flat organization structure and your ideas will help shape the future of the company. Your work is evaluated by the results you yield and how you drive your fellow team. We encourage you to speak freely and engagement in any form is rewarded.

You role:

• Idea generating, designing, planning and implementing new systems and integrations
• Writing web-services in PHP, Java, Python with MySQL as storage.
• Working in a fully containerised environment

The right person:

• At least 5 years experience in application development
• Comfortable taking initiative and ownership over code and whole services.
• Knowledge of software design principles and patterns.
• Bonus points:
  • Experience with Docker
  • Interest in infrastructure and architecture
